Local moving questions.
Do you move houses and apartments?
Yes. We move houses, apartments and units, from a single item to a full household. A local move covers packing and wrapping, careful loading, secure transport, unloading and placing your furniture in the rooms you choose.
Do you handle office and commercial moves?
Yes. Our relocation team has moved residential and commercial clients since 2018, including office furniture relocation and business deliveries. Tell us about the access at both sites and when you need to be up and running when you request your quote.
Do you provide packing services?
Yes. We pack and wrap fragile items and protect furniture with blankets and wraps, and our fleet is equipped with trolleys, dollies and tailgates for heavy and bulky pieces. If you would rather pack yourself, our guides on packing fragile items and labelling boxes will help.
How much does local moving cost?
Local moves are charged by the hour, and the rate depends on the vehicle: our 2-tonne moving van is $121/hr, and a two-person crew with a 4-tonne $160/hr, 6-tonne $170/hr, 8-tonne $180/hr, 10-tonne $190/hr or 12-tonne $245/hr truck. How long a move takes depends on how much you are moving and the access at each end. The moving volume calculator works out your cubic metres and recommends a truck; your quote confirms the price.
